summary

Throughout this summer semester technology has advanced right before our eyes. Facebook and Google + has been in an "arms race" so to speak. Apple has more money to spend than the government. Square is going to introduce Square Card Case where you can pay right from your phone! I might look into that as a matter of fact. It has truly been something else within these past few weeks.
I came into this class not knowing what this was going to be about. I thought we were just going to sit here and talk about how a computer works or something along those lines. It has truly opened my eyes to the world around me. I opened up a business a few months ago and this class has helped me keep in touch with my customers as well as my fiances by showing me the different apps and tools I can get to manage it.
I now know that the government to watching my every move. From the transactions I make to the places I go on a daily basis. It is sort of scary. My parents nor myself ever thought that government would be able to have this much knowledge on one person.

Not so fictional anymore?

Harry Potter is a big movie and book seller. Everyone has heard about him and probably have seen the movies. Well do you remember the invisiblity cloak? Of course its fictional but some students wanted to make it a reality.

You can read the articale above of how they made it happen. I watched on Nat. Geo. The camera angle had to be perfect! They interviewed the Professor seeing if he would sell the cloak to the military and he said no. He didn't want it to be used like that. Which surprised me because usually people would sell out and take the money and not even worry about what they will do with it. This professor doesnt even want to think about it.
Its amazing how this went from just a fictional book to reality. The advances these students can make in this world has only begun!
